This is a very special boutique hotel, legendary amongst the art world, as Barbizon is known as “the village of the painters” for its charming architecture and surroundings. Following this bucolic narrative, the interior design concept is developed around a relaxed and discreet luxury which maximizes the characteristics of the property and the nearby forest landscape.
Original wood beams have been restored and shine as a natural addition to the bedrooms. A similar effect is achieved by maximizing the shapes of the attic, which create a personal, distinct and intimate space. Most rooms have balconies or terraces which enjoy the views of the town’s rooftops and the Fontainebleau forest.
